LAO NADO Conducts Anti-Doping Education for National Athletes Preparing for the 20th Asian Games 2026

Vientiane, Lao PDR – LAO NADO, in cooperation with the Elite Sports Department, conducted an anti-doping education session for Lao national athletes and coaches preparing for the 20th Asian Games Aichi–Nagoya 2026. The session supported participants in completing the mandatory Anti-Doping Education and Learning (ADEL) certification required under the Olympic Council of Asia's anti-doping regulations, ensuring their eligibility to participate in the Games.

Delegates from Lao NADO attended the 2025 KADA Symposium

Lao NADO delegates attended the 2025 KADA Symposium, an event held on 2 December 2025 that focused on strategic priorities for National Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs), including the K‑LEAN Together Program and various collaborative models supporting clean sport. The symposium also featured presentations from NADO representatives across the region, highlighting shared approaches to strengthening testing programs and enhancing international cooperation.

DCO Train The Trainer workshop

The Doping Control Officer (DCO) Train-the-Trainer Workshop took place on April 23–24, 2025 at the Golden Tulip Sovereign Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. This important course was organized through a partnership between SEARADO and DCAT, aiming to enhance anti-doping education and training.

A total of nine participants attended the workshop, representing Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam, Timor-Leste, and Thailand.
